Absolutely fantastic dentist! I used to dread going to the dentist! The facility’s and equipment here are 1st class. As are the all the staff friendly and make you feel welcome the minute you walk through the door! The dentist at Love Teeth was very kind and warming and my daughter did not feel nervous at all. I am so grateful they managed to do the extraction with ease. The waiting room for children is also brilliant, with seasonal things to do (colouring, books, ipad, projector with a film on). Invisalign® aligners aren’t like the fixed braces you’ve probably seen before. The discreet straightener doesn’t rely on tightening brackets and wires to bring teeth into the perfect position. Instead, you’ll take home a series of several custom-made appliances, each of which nudges the teeth a little closer to perfection.
Stage One
First Impressions
Once you’ve decided to go ahead with Invisalign®, we’ll start by taking a FREE digital 3D iTero scan of your teeth so that your first aligners can be made at Invisalign’s® laboratory. We’ll send the scans to them along with a detailed set of instructions for production.
Stage Two
Aligner Production
Invisalign® uses advanced 3D computer imaging technology to transform your bite impressions into a series of custom-made clear and removable aligners. Depending on your treatment plan, there may be as many as 48 in the series or as few as 12.
Stage Three
Your Fitting
It usually takes a few weeks for Invisalign® to produce the aligners and send them back to us. You’ll be invited back to Love Teeth to have the first aligner fitted as soon as we receive them. We’ll let you know how to wear and care for your aligner and give you a few additional sets to wear before you return.
Stage Four
Treatment
You’ll wear each set of aligners day and night for about two weeks, removing them to eat, drink, brush and floss. Total treatment time averages 9 to 15 months but will vary from case to case. You’ll visit us only every six weeks to ensure your treatment progresses as planned.
Stage Five
Smile!
When you’ve finished wearing each aligner in the series, your treatment will be complete, and you will have the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. To ensure that your perfect new smile stays this way, you’ll wear retainers at night for the first six months and then as instructed by your dentist (usually a few times a week.)
