check Restores your smile!

Don’t lose your bite. A bridge can be used where a gap borders two solid teeth which already have crowns or large fillings.

Sometimes we may need to fit a temporary denture to allow the gums to heal properly after extraction. Then we can fit the right bridge to suit your needs.

As well as effectively replacing missing teeth, the end result of your bridge will be that you can bite fully and comfortably & restore your smile.

dental-bridgeThere are three main types of dental bridges:

1 Traditional Bridge

Involve creating a crown for the tooth or implant on wither side of the missing tooth, with a “pontic” in between. Traditional bridges are the most common type of bridge and are made of either porcelain fused to metal or ceramics.

2 Cantilever Bridge

Are used when there are adjacent teeth on only one side of the missing tooth or teeth.

3 Maryland Bonded Bridges

Are made of plastic teeth and gums supported by a metal framework. Metal wings on each side of the bridge are bonded to your existing teeth. (Also known as a resin-bonded bridge or a Maryland Bridge).
