What Is Botox?
Botox is the brand name of a medical treatment that uses Botulinum-A Toxin. It is manufactured by Allergan and is a product that is trusted and recognised by clinicians all over the world.

How Does Botox Work?
Botox is an anti-wrinkle treatment that is used in very low doses. When injected into overactive muscles where lines have formed, BTX-A blocks the transmission of nerve impulses. How Long Do the Effects of Botox Last?

Is There Any Downtime?

We recommend that you don’t lie down or take painkillers for around four hours following the procedure.
You should avoid wearing makeup over the 12 hours after treatment or doing anything too strenuous. This means holding off on your next gym visit.

Are There Any Side-Effects of Botox?
As with most medicines, there is always a risk of some mild side effects. In the case of Botox, these include swelling, redness, or bruising around the injection site.
