Dr. Tarun Nagpal

Dr Tarun Nagpal qualified from King’s College London Dental School and has committed his career towards the field of Oral surgery. He currently works as a specialty registrar in Oral Surgery at the Luton and Dunstable hospital and in private dental practices.

Alongside his passion for Oral surgery, he has a keen interest in the behavioral and pharmacological management of anxious patients.

He prides himself on providing patient centered care with an empathetic approach. He believes open and honest communication is the key to dental care and that this allows patients to be at ease in the dental chair. He is a keen advocate for reducing anxiety as a barrier to patients receiving dental care in general practice.

Dr Nagpal has a keen interest in postgraduate education to further his knowledge. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and the London regional representative for BAOS (British Association of Oral Surgeons). He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Dental Care as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Tarun has travelled to many countries for his training including Germany, Belgium, Canada and UAE. He is currently completing a Diploma in Implants with the world renowned Smile Academy.

Dr Nagpal performs a range of oral surgery procedures in a general dental practice setting including wisdom tooth removal, surgical tooth extractions, soft tissue surgery, therapeutic botulinum toxin injection and more.

Due to Dr Nagpal’s background in surgery, he is very well versed with facial anatomy and often performs facial aesthetics procedures including full facial rejuvenation with the use of dermal fillers and botulinum toxin. Of course this is not for everyone and he is also able to signpost patient’s to the most appropriate skin care products they may require.
